Our mission is to equip the membership for service through the preaching and teaching of God's Word; to inspire the downhearted; to provide relief to the destitute, to assist with healing of the mind, the soul and the body; to conduct an outreach ministry in the community; to provide leadership; to guide lost souls to Christ to establish and maintain a spiritual environment where all people feel welcomed and loved.

Objectives and Goals of St. Julia:
 1. Empower and train individuals in the community with low self-esteem and who are jobless and homeless to take control of their situations.
 2. Develop an economic environment that will create jobs by partnering with agencies, non-profit organizations and the faith community.
3. Build relationships with the schools in the St. Julia African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church's district to help prepare children academically by volunteering to provide one-on-one reading tutoring and provide transportation for parents to visit schools and attend school board meetings.
